Identification Notes

spikelets 2 mm long, inflorescences mostly less than 6 cm long with 2-4 primary branches. Ligule short to obscure.no awns. slender leaves are flat and taper to point. Ligule is a short membranous rim with a ragged edge and some long hairs on each lateral margin.
