Timber: Not a first class timber tree. Sapwood subject to attack by borers. Often small with irregular crooked stem, often hollow towards the centre in some localities.||

Successfully propogated by Noosa & District Landcare. ||Landscape uses; GULLY EROSION CONTROL; Shade Tree, bushy from an early age; Ornamental; Berries; Perfumed Flowers; v. attractive foliage small tree.||Good container plant and can be used indoors.||Excellent street tree for screen plant.||Propagation is from seed, ripening in spring and summer and germinating easily.
