Identification Notes

Leaves: alternate, simple, entire. Hairless, thick, glossy, dark green above and much lighter below. Margins wavy. Oil dots inconspicuous. Venation reticulate, visible both surfaces but more distinct below. Midrib yellowish, sunken above and prominent below. Petiole yellowish (frequently), twisted and channelled above. ||Fruit: black, sometimes ribbed.||
