Leaves smaller and narrower than Neolitsea dealbata. Branchlets becoming green, smooth and hairless. Terminal buds scaly, not hairy. Leaf: simple in pseudo-whorls, 3-veined, green both surfaces, hairless.||New growth: limp, glue/purple.||
