Identification Notes
Prickly, Stems rusty hairy, leaves opposite, thick, stiff, hairy to 20 cm. Petioles very thickly rusty-pubescent on the under surface.. Young expanding shoo ts densely rusty-woolly. Leaves 5-18 cm long, 3-8cm broad. Young branchlets unarmed, older branches prickly.
