Identification Notes

Trunk: Green upper trunk. Slightly swollen trunk. Bark grey/brown, fissured, greenish in crevices ||Branchlets brown and smooth but becoming hairy towards ends ||Stipules inconspicuous. ||Leaves large, broad lobed and deciduous. ||

Landscaping Notes

Pink Lacebark is similar in many ways to Flame Tree (Brachychiton acerifolius) but flowers larger, woolly and pink. They drop soon after opening.||Propagate and cultivate as for Flame Tree with which it hybridises readily.||Copes with seasonal dryness.||
