Identification Notes
Often forms dense mats. Stems jointed and flattened. Leaves yellowish green, 8-12 cm long, about 1 cmwide, tapering to a fine point. Spikelets small, rounded, pale yellow or straw-coloured, closely set in two rows along the spikes.
